21 YEARS OF KING ST

We’ve recently celebrated our 21 st birthday. Although we resisted the temptation to down a yard glass, we did have a great celebration. It’s quite a milestone and a good time to reflect for a short time, then start to look ahead.

The difference between now and when we started in 1999 can only be described as night and day. For context, Mark Zuckerberg was only 15 when we started. I certainly remember it being a lot easier back then to gain strong reach against any audience through the more traditional channels. Free-to-air TV gave blanket coverage; Netflix and NEON weren't even so much as a rumour as SKY gained critical mass in droves.

Thankfully, some things haven’t changed. Strong and relevant ideas coupled with quality execution are still the only starting point to great campaigns.

It’s a proud feeling to look at how we’ve adapted and can now provide a full suite of services to our clients, to help them successfully develop and run campaigns of all shapes and sizes.

But the main reason we’ve come this far comes down to people. Our team has always been made up of talented, humble, inquisitive and driven people who love to help clients succeed. This has helped us build long-term relationships with equally talented people from many organisations. An incredibly strong combination.

Thanks for everyone who’s helped us come this far. If you spend too much time looking in the rear view mirror, you’ll drive off the road. So we’re done with celebrating – now we’re planning the journey ahead.
