We’ve been a proud, loud and active supporter of the Hamilton Gardens Arts Festival for 18 of the 20 years that the Festival has been delighting crowds. Our platinum sponsorship sees us working as the marketing arm of the Festival team, and each year we create a fresh and inspiring look for Waikato’s premier arts festival as well as advise on the media strategy.
2019 brought about a new challenge as the co-directors wanted to radically change the design to attract new audiences. Our solution was a summer inspired, bright and modern design that heroes the HGAF acronym – really pushing the boundaries on the often-floral approach taken in years past. Reflecting this, we also rebuilt the Festival website, as well as creating the programme, print/digital campaign creative and all event collateral.
As a result, the Hamilton Gardens Arts Festival has become a highlight of Hamilton’s summer calendar and a well-loved event that 88.4% of attendees surveyed said that they were extremely likely to attend again. For the 2019 Festival, 6,170 people attended ticketed shows and well over 30,000 attended free events.
