We’ve been a proud, loud and active supporter of the Hamilton Gardens Arts Festival for 19 of the 22 years that the Festival has been delighting crowds. Our platinum sponsorship sees us working as the marketing arm of the Festival team, and each year we create a fresh and inspiring look for Waikato’s premier arts festival, as well as advise on the media strategy.
2020 Took a go big or go home approach with the need to develop a look and feel to span 3 festivals and celebrate the festival's growth into the CBD. Our brief was to create a magical and whimsical design which was brought to life through a fantastical colour palette. This was then rolled out across the printed programme, website, a full suite of event collateral and advertising placements.
As a result, audiences from all parts of the Waikato along with Auckland, Bay of Plenty and Wellington were in attendance, with 96.6% of survey respondents rating HGAF 2020 as Very Good or Excellent. Festival attendance was also up 20% on the 2019 Festival with 6,300 people attending ticketed events and 45,000 attending free and live events.
